This has got to be one of the most ridiculous thing I have heard of. A border fence like this is like placing a bandaid on a gaping wound. This is not the solution. We should have more strict laws on the hiring of 'illegal' immagrants and have a way to force those that are trying to stay here without proper authority to go and get proper authorization via paperwork. When these large companies get slapped on the wrist with petty fines for highering illegal immagrants they see no reason to stop because a $50,000 is well worth having 10 people that are willing to work for limited pay. If we were to increase to alot higher amount then the companies may think twice before comitting the crime but, what do I know.

Maybe we should just enforce stuff..
Its not that we need newer, stricter laws; the current ones just need to be enforced.
It is illegal for any non-citizen to be here longer than 30 days without a visa. Period.
Each local goverment should be authorized to jail and/or deport anyone picked up for being here illegally. They aren't "illegal aliens", they are criminals.
Well I feel that new laws should be made because...
Wal-mart(a really good example for this) gets nothing more than a slap on the wrist, instead of actually geting a proper punishment was able to pay their way out of it. You should not be able to pay out of something like this because to Wal-Mart as a company they actually saved money.
