In Florida, Independents are not allowed to vote in the presidential primaries (if an Independent isn't running). Isn't that rather unconstitutional to deny a registered voter the right to vote? I contacted the Supervisor of Elections, Jerry Holland, and his office said, "You can come in and change your party the day of the elections and vote, then go up to the desk and change your party back". Can you believe a voter would have to go through all that only to walk in as an Independent and leave as one? What if I'm an Independent (considering one is running) and want to vote for a Democrat or a Republican? Can't do it; you must vote for your registered party. How outrageous.

correction on party change
Actually you have to change your party before book closing, which is 29 days before the election, then you could change it back the day after the election.
The logic, is too have only those who want to be in their respective party influence their selection. When you allow independents to cross over, their selection may be made to vote for a more probable loser for that party in November. This can occur when they feel their true selection in the other party has a lock on capturing first place in the primary.
rebel got no cause
Rebel my church teaches me to not have conversations with demon possessed people, which you oviously are.
If you do not have the moral compass and some dgree of inteligence then you should not be allowed to vote, much less post your message in public.
All things come to those who are pure, which means you won't be gettin nothing.
Wise up and fly straight then and only then will you have the right to vote in my elections.
Demon Possessed and Elections?
If your church teaches you not to have conversations with "demon possessed
people". then you have broken your own rule by doing so. If you are the exorcist
you appear to be, then maybe you can do something about that. Moral compass and
intelligence has nothing to do with the right of an American citizen to vote.
As far as posting a message "in public"; isn't that what you just
did? "Fly straight"? Only birds and planes do that on a linier mathematical
scale. Additionally, stating, "my elections" do not belong to you
solely. You have the right to vote and so do I. There seems to be much judgment
and hate in your post, which I believe the Bible speaks unkindly of. By the
way, things come to those who pray for goodness and perhaps you should pray for
forgiveness for stating someone will get nothing. You do not know who is
posting messages and perhaps they are more faithful and clean than you are.
The Bible states that you should offer burnt offerings; do you do this? It
states that one shall erect a tent in the desert, build an alter within and
give bread as an offering; do you do this? It further states that you shall put
lambs' blood on your door for Passover; do you do this?
"Demons" indeed. Who is the "demon" here? You are blasphemous
and shall yourself pay the price when the time comes. Hypocrites abound and
perhaps your group should reconsider their position. "Your
elections"; just read your own post. How ridiculous you sound to the
American people. You can't even spell "obviously",
"degree", "intelligence", or "getting". This
shows the level of your mindset and ability to communicate on the lowest level.
voting
Voting is a right reserved for people with true values, thus we have a Democratic party
voting
Having matriculated beyond the 6th grade, I simply don't remember the right to vote being qualified to allow only those who have true values. Can you point out where this is is stated in either the Constitution or the Bill of Rights?
Unless both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party are paying for the expenses of the primary and NONE of the money is coming from the taxpayers either in goods, services or cash, then ALL should be allowed to vote.

Voting: Responce
I must agree with you. Let's take a moment to define "values". Oh, well I'm at a loss because that term really doesn't mean anything. "Values" to you or me might mean something other than that of someone else, so the word really has no meaning. The Constitution does state forth that we have the right to representation, which means all people have the right to vote [amended]. You are totally correct. Everyone has the right to vote and as new Independent voter, I should have the right to vote in any election. Thank you for your post.
