If you are a "revise history" CSA nut, this won't make sense to you, but if you will read it and think about it for a minute, it truely makes sense.
Think about this, every bullet fired from a weapon of a soldier of either the CSA or Al-Qaeda had the same purpose - kill a soldier of the United States of America.
Think about this, the intended goal of the leaders of both the CSA and Al-Qaeda was to destroy the United States of America.
I know there's a lot of people that want to believe the Conferderacy was some worthwhile cause, but bottom line, if the CSA had won, the United States of America would have been forever changed. Does anyone think the USA without the southern states would ever have won World War II?
Think about all the great things the USA has done and accomplished. How much of this would not have been possible if the CSA had won?
All I can say is, "God's will be done", the CSA lost, get over it.

Hatefull people
What is wrong with people. I think some of you just want your 15 minutes of fame. Get over it. For your information the American Civil War was over 150 years ago. It was fought by people on their own land trying to protect what they thought was their rights. Unless I am mistaken the World Trade Center is in New York,NY USA and owned by and occupied by Americans, not Al-Qaeda. So that is a big difference. Southern Americans protecting the South is a lot different than Al-Qaeda killing Americans in America. By your logic I guess the American Revolutionaries were terrorist because we fought and killed the British to gain our freedom. I don't know if being in Iraq is what we should be doing, but I don't have access to all the info that the President and Congress have and I doubt that you do either. You only know what the media tells you. And I wouldn't count on that being complete. They seem to be only the opinions that sell. I do know I don't ever want anyone to attack us again on US soil. The last two times Pearl Harbor and World Trade Center were devistating enough. Can you imagine if they had access to a nuclear weapon. Those are real problems so as far as worring about what happened 150 years ago, "get over it".
Why are we focusing on the CSA
Well said bigdeal
Atlhough I do wonder what all this about the CSA has to do with the 2008 elections
The point is, many people
The point is, many people here in the south hold the Confederacy in high regard. When in fact their purpose was to destroy the United States of America. Every bullet fired from a CSA weapon had the same purpose as a weapon of Al-Qaeda soldier - to kill soldiers of the United States of America.
Another Empathetic Voice
Weren't the southern states fighting for independence from the USA? There was no intent to 'destroy' the US ever. I don't feel that their cause was right, but to label an entire region of our country as no better than terrorists for fighting for something they believed in is pretty ignorant.
How does Sherman's March to the Sea in which he ordering his troops to burn crops, kill livestock, consume supplies, and destroy civilian infrastructure along their path rank on your Civil War terrorism scale?
csa and al-qaeda
I know that the same liberals that now are rooting for Al-Qaeda to kill more U.S. soldiers, would have also supported the CSA.
Keep poppin'
The idea that there are "liberals" who are "rooting for Al-Qaeda to kill more U.S. soldiers" is the sort of extremist fantasy that comes from the drug-addled mind of Rush Limbaugh. Flying pink elephants are far more likely. America is tired of this garbage.
I know you guys to the right
I know you guys to the right of Hitler love to spread lies, but at least put a history book under you pillow at night. Maybe, just maybe some of it will soak through your hard head.
The conservatives of the south were the ones that started and supported the Confederate cause. The liberals wanted to preserve the United States. Are you in favor of there being both a CSA and a USA?
One more thing, I don't know of any liberal that's "rooting" for Al-Qaeda. Just because we're against this neo-con invented war doesn't mean we support Al-Qaeda. We are just as much Americans as you guys on the right are. We don't attack your patriotism just because we disagree with you so how about doing some original thinking and not just repeating what the far right wing media tells you to say. Think for yourself.
We just don't think this war was called for and doesn't need to be carried on. Your man McCain said he's behind Bush and will be there for 100 years. Are you in favor of us being there 100 years?
