Well looking at the growing rivalry between Obama and Clinton, I would say that Obama will win enough delegates to wrap up the nomination, but Hillary will steal it with the Superdelegates. This in turn will piss off the black voters who support Obama, and they will turn out and vote for McCain to defeat Hillary again. Watch and see.
My main concern is this carpetbagging phony named Al Franken. Why he came to Minnesota to run for Senate is still quite a mystery to me. I think he just needed a job or some other mundane way to make a buck. He has no character, no leadership qualities, no personality, and not a clue what politics or Congress is all about. But I will continue to look into this nut job and see what I can find, outside of what I have already posted here.
First lets look at his now defunct political action committee. Al Franken calls his political action committee Midwest Values PAC, but a list of its contributors shows that it didn't draw much support from the Midwest. The overwhelming majority of donors hail from the East or West Coast, including many of the former Air America Radio hosts buddies in Hollywood and New York. Of the 49 contributors who gave the PAC the maximum $5,000, only 10 are from a state in the Midwest, and four of the 10 are members of Franken's family, according to campaign finance reports viewed by the Web site opensecrets.org. Donors of $5,000 include former talk show host Phil Donahue, writer-actor Larry David, film executive Harvey Weinstein, directors Barry Levinson and Peter Farrelly, New York writers Nora Ephron and Nicholas Pileggi, and Real Networks CEO Robert Glaser. Franken raised over $800,000 for democrats during the last elction cycle.
When looking at funding for the Senate race, Al Franken is behind Norm Coleman. http://opensecrets.org/races/summary.asp?cycle=2008&id=MNS1 First I have to question, why does is cost millions of dollars to run and win? But with that aside, Coleman has an edge on his opponent. So why is he running? To get back at Conservatives like Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh? To try and silence them? Only time will tell. But obviously this jerk has an agenda. But it isn't serving Minnesotans...it is something else. He came here because Democrats saw an oppurtunity. Coleman is a freshman senator, and freshman are the easiest to unseat. Is he just a hack for the DNC? Looks like it. If you compare his jargon on the former Air America and his website...he is now a truly conformed man. His HATE BUSH and Defeat America rhetoric of the last eight years has been transformed by the DNC machine to make him look like a centurist. But the truth will come out. He is a unfunny, short tempered little phony, and given the right opputunity, he will show his true colors...mark my word.
And for the rest of the election cycle here in Minnesota. The six Rino's who vote with the left to overturn the Governor's vetos will get their pink slips in the Fall. Their local BPOU's and county conventions have endorsed more fiscally sound conservatives to run against these shameful so called republicans that voted for tax increases when people need tax relief. Good bye losers. So long. Farewell.
