About Me
Born in Alaska in 1950. Ethnic background is a mixture of Alaska Eskimo and Irish on mother's side; French and English on father's side. Mother is a local girl from Skagway, Alaska. Father is from Fort Monroe, Virginia formerly employed with the old U.S. Army Petroleum Division out of Fort Richardson, Alaska, at the Haines PDO. Was raised up on pump stations and pipelines at 'Lutak' near Chilkoot Lake where father maintained a homestead under the old Homestead Act. Attended Alaska's First Annual Boy's State in 1967. Served in Viet Nam between 1969-1972, with the U.S. Army. Past political affiliations are: RNC, U.S. Defense Committee, U.S. Republican Senatorial Inner Circle. Left Republican Party in 2003 in protest of the invasion of Iraq and became a Democrat. Having a belly full of the Democrats, have decided to return to the Republicans. Hold a BA degree in Management and Marketing from Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage and an AA degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Alaska, S.E. Occupation: International Contract Teacher/Corporate Trainer. Currently under contract with Qatar Petroleum/IMTIAZ Management Training Center at Doha, Qatar (In the Middle East).
